Had a very friendly and helpful technician come out to inspect and clean my system.On the negative side, I had issues receiving a quote for some duct work. Easily and quickly scheduled someone to come out and give us a quote to redo our ducting in the house, and a very guy came and looked it over. Its been about a month with multiple reminders and we still have not received our quote. Unfortunate since we really liked the guy who came out!

Adam has helped us three times now and has always done an outstanding job with fixing our HVAC. We called this morning and they were able to squeeze us in. Adam was able to fix our problem in less than an hour. This company goes above and beyond to help their clients with the best service and in a timely manner. I can't recommend Carter and Sons HVAC enough.

I woke up with a broken furnace in the winter, called the office and spoke immediately with a kind and knowledgeable woman who sent a technician promptly. Adam arrived quickly, was polite and explained his troubleshooting. The issue was fixed quickly and the price seems to have been fair. I’m happy to recommend them!

Carter and Sons installed a new Carrier heat pump system for me two years ago. Unfortunately, it has never worked correctly due to slow refrigerant leaks. C&S came back repeatedly until they were finally able to trace the leak to a faulty component of the system itself. They were able to obtain a replacement part from Carrier and got it installed last week. I am very glad I went with C&S because they stand by their work and don't give up easily. I never paid anything except the original install cost.

Carter & Sons is phenomenal! We had an issue arise over the weekend and they were able to come out almost within 24 hours of us calling and making the appointment. Adam was our tech. He explained the issue, what he did to fix it and ensured everything was in proper order before he left. We have older units we’re trying to lengthen the life of, but we will be using Carter & Sons when we’re ready to replace them. Could not recommend them enough!

When I was looking for an HVAC contractor to fix my broken air conditioner, I called several companies, including the big guys. It takes five minutes to get past the big guys phone menu to figure out whether you want plumbing, electrical, or HVAC. I chose this company because they are family owned and operated. In fact, on my first call, I spoke to a family member, who is had of the service department. They ended up responding within two hours of my call, and Zac the service tech was pleasant and knowledgeable. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommend this company. I love supporting small local family owned businesses.

Price Gouging! I must warn whoever decides to use this company that you will be heavily heavily overcharged. I encourage you to compare prices before using this company, and you’ll see for yourself. Nothing against the quality of work that they do, but charging someone over $1,000 to replace a part that cost a little over $100 and only takes 20-30 min to replace is ridiculous. I ended up calling another HVAC company and they said the same parts and labor will be a total of $250, and their work and service was excellent. They were even shocked on how ridiculously high Carters and Sons were trying to charge me. Carter and Sons HVAC company refuses to give an itemized breakdown of the price to explain why it is so high. This seems like tactic they use to hide how much they are Up-Charging you. Their Consultation/diagnostic fee is also significantly higher than other HVAC companies. Please save money and shop around, and refrain from using Carters and Son.

I was having an issue with my heat pump that Carter and Sons had installed a few months back (also a great and seamless experience). Adam was able to come out within an hour of me calling to identify the issue and get the system back up running in no time. I cannot speak more highly of their customer service and highly recommend for any HVAC needs!

We spent over $300 and had 3 visits in just as many days with this company. The first time they claimed to service our units. We woke up the next day to no AC. The second day they claimed a completely different issue and installed a new part on a unit. After that visit there was water all over our floor as the technician failed to remove a piece of the equipment. It leaked for a day and a half before someone finally got back to us on how to fix it. Finally the third day we came home again to no AC. After that third visit we were told we needed a new unit. We did our due diligence and got multiple quotes and were told that our upstairs unit needed maintenance as it had started leaking through our attic and made a wet spot on our ceiling. We had just paid Carter and Sons $200 which included servicing that unit. We feel like we literally lit money on fire with this company. Never again.
