Carter & Sons has always provided me excellent service since I purchased my most recent HVAC system around five years ago. Today my Service Appt was almost an hour past my scheduled window and I did not receive a call or text updating me as to the status So I was quite frustrated as I had altered my schedule to be home at the specified time, wndow. So why am I giving them a five star rating you may ask? The reason is that once I called into the main office I immediately heard back from Katie, who I believe is the Customer Service and scheduling Manager. She is always super helpful and she provided me a status and informed me that the technician was on the way. When my technician Elijah, arrived, he was extremely professional, apologized for the delay and promptly performed the service on both of our HVAC units. Elijah has been to our home before and he is always great to work with. Thank you, Carter & Sons, for always delivering great service And making things right. I’m glad to be a loyal customer.

Have had issues with two AC units in middle of a hot summer. Carter and Sons was easy to schedule, on time and completed quality repairs / part replacement on both visits. Technicians (Elijah, Ryan and Darrin in our case) are all well trained, conscientious about their work and patient in explaining their diagnosis and recommended repair. Rates very reasonable. No upsell pressure as you routinely get from the huge private-equity backed HVAC guys. Give me the smaller family run folks every time. Our first call on anything HVAC.
