“This morning around 1:30 am I heard a familiar noise coming from my breaker panel. Familiar, because the noise always happens when my A/C system comes on. BUT, this morning the noise kept happening! After 3 times in span of 2 minutes of hearing this noise, I thought I should turn off the A/C to keep a potential electrical fire from happening. I was nervous and praying the noise would not be a huge issue. 8am comes and I call Katie at C&S and she is able to schedule a visit for me between 10 and 12 this morning! GREAT! Darren, who had previously serviced my system, shows up and I instantly feel comfortable and well taken care of. We chat a bit, I tell him what's happening and he goes out to check the outdoor part of the system. A few minutes later Darren comes back and says, "Mr. Bob, it WAS the capacitor (which Mac, another wonderful service tech had diagnosed a few months earlier! I chose not to replace the part on diagnosis, hoping to get a little more life out of it). So, ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom problem fixed and I am cool again! Before leaving, Darren advised me to have an electrical inspection done due to the age and noises coming out of my very dated breaker panel. All of the service techs I have worked with at C&S are super fantastic! Katie in the office is super! They just do it "right" at Carter & Sons!”
