“Carter and Sons was a referral from my neighbor, who recently bought two complete A/C systems from them after vetting at least five companies, and who had been highly impressed with their sales/service. John Carter arrived at my home, on a late Friday afternoon, within 2 hours of my call. Considering we were in the middle of a heat wave with a failing A/C unit, that was terrific. John was highly professional and explained the ins and outs of various systems, did not upsell me anything I did not want, and his pricing was comparable to a competitor who had given me a price a few months ago. The installers, Andrew and Noah, arrived Monday at 7:15 AM and worked for several hours in high heat in a third-floor attic, removing old equipment and hauling in the new. Not easy on such a sweltering day. They showed me what they had done, instructed me on the new thermostat and cleaned up as if they were never there. They worked steadily and were done a whole lot sooner than I anticipated.
All in all, even though I hate having to spend that much money, it was an essential spend. I am very happy that I chose Carter and Sons who I believe will be there if I need them. They seem to have a more personalized approach than some of the big A/C boys out there (you know who they are) so thanks John for taking the time to show up so fast and to get this scheduled for the last minute.
